HK inno.N Named 'Best ESG Company' at 2024 Korea ESG Standards Institute Awards, Sole Winner in the Pharmaceutical Industry
Achieved an A+ grade in this year's ESG evaluation, one level higher than last year's A grade
HK inno.N announced on December 9 that it was recognized as the ‘Best ESG Company’ at the 'Korea Institute of Corporate Governance and Sustainability (KCGS) Excellence Awards,' held at the Korea Exchange on December 5.
The awards ceremony was attended by KCGS Vice-President Lee Jeong-ui, Financial Services Commission Vice Chairperson Kim So-young, Korea Exchange Chairperson Jeong Eun-bo, HK inno.N CEO Dalwon Kwak, and representatives from 13 award-winning companies.
KCGS recognizes outstanding companies that demonstrate exemplary ESG management practices among top-rated ESG performers, contributing to the sustainable growth of the capital market. Award recipients are granted a one-year exemption from fees for disclosure and ESG training programs offered by the Korea Listed Companies Association, the KOSDAQ Listed Companies Association, and the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
HK inno.N was named 'Best ESG Company' in the KOSDAQ category for general listed companies. This year, it was the only pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical company among the 13 award recipients. The company earned high praise for its proactive disclosure of ESG information and its efforts to build a sustainable business ecosystem.
In the environmental sector, HK inno.N strengthened the disclosure of environmental information based on climate change scenario analysis results. In the social sector, it enhanced the level of social responsibility across the supply chain, focusing on areas such as safety and health, human rights, and fair trade. In the governance sector, the company worked to reinforce board leadership by separating the roles of board chairperson and CEO and implementing proactive board evaluations.

Meanwhile, HK inno.N achieved an overall A+ grade in this year’s ESG ratings by KCGS, an improvement from last year’s A grade.
