CJ HealthCare enters the global market with the health functional food brand 'Condition'

CJ HealthCare enters the global market with the health functional food brand 'Condition'
CJ HealthCare, an affiliate of Kolmar Korea, enters the Vietnamese health functional food market for 1 trillion won with health functional food.


CJ HealthCare (CEO Kang Seok-Hee) announced on the 25 that it has signed a contract to supply Vietnamese health functional food with Vietnamese distributor Viet ha (CEO Nguyen Minh Son) at the CJ HealthCare headquarter in Seoul on the 22nd.

Under this agreement, Vietnamese corporate of CJ HealthCare will supply three health functional foods to Viet ha to help liver, skin, and joint health. Viet ha distributes its products in more than 10,000 locations across Vietnam, including five major pharmacy chains and private pharmacies.


This is the first time that CJ HealthCare has introduced health functional food to the global market. CJ HealthCare established a corporation in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam in March this year and has been preparing to target the local market. Vietnam's health functional food market is known as a promising market with an average annual growth rate of over 10%.


CJ HealthCare has researched and developed health functional foods that help liver, skin, and joint health by reflecting the characteristics of local consumers in Vietnam.
Production is undertaken by Kolmar BNH, a company specializing in health functional food.

The brand name of the health functional food to be introduced to the Vietnamese market is 'Condition'. In 2014, CJ HealthCare, which gained recognition by entering the Vietnamese market with hangover beverage ‘Condition,’ has a strategy to establish “Condition” as a health functional food brand in Southeast Asian markets such as Vietnam.


An official from Vietnamese corporate of CJ HealthCare said, "Vietnam is the first country that CJ HealthCare has entered the global health functional food market."
"We are planning to conduct dynamic sales and marketing with Viet ha so that the brand ’Condition’ can quickly settle down as a representative brand of health functional food in Vietnam."

Viet ha, which is responsible for the distribution of CJ HealthCare's health functional foods in Vietnam, specializes in the distribution of medicines and health functional foods that distribute products to more than 10,000 Vietnamese pharmacies and hospitals.

There are four health functional foods of CJ HealthCare to be launched on the Vietnamese market, including tablets (pills) to help liver, skin, and joint health, and turmeric drinks to help improve digestive function. Viet ha is responsible for the distribution of tablet products among them. Tablets are distributed to more than 10,000 pharmacies nationwide in December of this year, and beverages are distributed to pharmacies and convenience stores.
